(pressebox) Neuburg/Kammel, 21.02.2011 – Kardex Remstar’s new online WMS software module, Global Power Pick from , enables you to check stock levels at a glance at any time and from anywhere in the world using an iPad, iPhone or any other web-enabled mobile phone. The functions and possibilities of the new technology will be presented to trade visitors at CeMAT 2011 for the first time on Stand B40 in Hall 13.
„Whether en route or actually at the customer’s premises, our new online warehouse management software module makes enables sales staff and management to check current stock levels and work out availability and delivery times at any time,“ explained Manfred Schleicher, Managing Director of Kardex Germany GmbH. An FSL code guarantees the security of the data query and access rights can be limited to certain areas. The new module is also easy to use and looks good. The Web pages are clear and easy to use, particularly when used on the iPad. „During the year, we are planning to convert the current application into an app,“ Manfred Schleicher added. „This software program will than enable the offline mode and make it possible to store received data and integrate additional functions, such as a status report on the utilisation of production machinery.“
Flexible LVS
All the Global Power Pick warehouse management system modules are highly scalable. It is not only compatible with all the automatic delivery systems from Kardex Remstar, but can also be easily used with all the standard storage systems from other manufacturers and is suitable for managing manual warehouses. The software has interfaces to the higher-level ERP and host systems. All the common picking and communication technologies, such as Pick-by-light or RFID, are already integrated.
At CeMAT 2011, Kardex Remstar will also be presenting the new Megamat RS carousel and the stock lifts of the Shuttle XP series automatic storage and delivery solutions from the current product portfolio.
