Übernahme eröffnet neue Märkte – Produktportfolio optimal ergänzt
Lemgo, 09. Juni 2011******Die Stockmeier Urethanes GmbH & Co. KG hat die im englischen Sowerby Bridge (West Yorkshire) ansässige Greenfield Polymers Ltd. (GPL) übernommen. Bei GPL handelt es sich um ein privat geführtes Systemhaus, dass sich in den Marktsegmenten Elektroverguß und Kleb- sowie Dichtstoffe für verschiedene Industriebereiche bewegt. Es ist eines der führenden unabhängigen Unternehmen in GB in diesem Feld. GPL ist aktiv in England, Wales, Schottland und Irland. Weitere Absatzmärkte sind Skandinavien, Nordamerika, der Mittleren Osten sowie die VR China.
„Durch die Übernahme ergänzen wir nicht nur in hervorragender Weise unser Produktportfolio, sondern erhalten jetzt auch verstärkt Zugang zu Märkten und Regionen, in denen wir momentan mit den entsprechenden Produkten nicht optimal vertreten sind“, erklärt Stefan Baumann, Geschäftsführer der Stockmeier Urethanes GmbH & Co. Die beiden Söhne der Alt-Gesellschafter, die die GPL bereits operativ geführt haben, werden in die Stockmeier Urethanes Gruppe übernommen.
