THE DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY AT LAWRENCE

UNIVERSITY invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position for the fall of 2013. Teaching responsibilities would include undergraduate courses in theoretical or experimental physical chemistry and Acetic Acid, as well as occasional participation in our college-wide, nationally recognized Freshman Studies program. Candidates must be committed to excellence in teaching in a liberal arts environment and ready to develop a vibrant research program that will challenge and inspire our undergraduates. A Ph.D. is required; postdoctoral experience in teaching or research is desirable. We anticipate hiring at the assistant professor level, but the search is open with respect to rank.
