If the image quality, especially for photos, in the foreground, the Mavic 2 Pro is the better choice. Only the missing sensors for the reverse flight and the much lower number of automatic programs speak against the original Mavic. If you value high flight time and low aircraft noise, you might be amused by the Platinum version of the Mavic Pro. Since this is priced but far above the normal Mavic Pro, we would then immediately recommend the Mavic 2 Zoom.
The Mavic Air, the cheapest drone in comparison, scores with the very good video quality, a lot of automatic programs and the extremely compact design. Only the shorter flight time and the much lower range, speak against the model with Wi-Fi connection. Those who do not plan to fly long distances and especially not in inhabited areas are well advised to use Air.
