Federal Minister Westerwelle condemns the assassination attempt on Kurt Westergaard
Federal Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle issued the following statement today (3 January) on the assassination attempt on the Danish cartoonist Kurt Westergaard:
„I condemn this assassination attempt in the strongest possible terms. Freedom of opinion, of the press and of art and culture are vital pillars in our community of shared values. This community of shared democratic values must and will not be intimidated.?
