(pressebox) Essen, 08.02.2011 – The continuing merger of further market areas operated by gas transmission companies is also helping the German gas market grow closer together. Open Grid Europe is currently working intensively on a further reduction of the number of market areas in Germany as requested by the regulator.
The coupling of H-gas and L-gas areas in particular is a huge challenge for the companies because it requires numerous workflows and IT-based processes to be modified.
