(pressebox) Teningen, 09.03.2011 – The string inverter product line SOLIVIA 2.5, 3.0, 3.3 and 5.0 EU G3 as well as the Central Inverter product line with an output power ranging from 44 to 100 kW are certified with a confirmation of compatibility in combination with the FS-Series 2 and FS-Series 3 modules by First Solar. The thin film solar modules from First Solar represent the latest advancements in thin film solar technology.
The System Design and Application-(SDA)-Process of First Solar assures that their PV modules are installed together with optimal components. This ensures safety, optimized performance and reliability over the life of the system. Each approved SDA reviews different items like – physical location and orientation, module mounting structure, electrical system design, balance of system (BoS) equipment and operating conditions – to ensure appropriate application of the module. The results are high system efficiencies and economics.
The SOLIVIA string inverters can be used with all common photovoltaic module types, even with rear-side contact modules and thin-film modules that require positive or negative DC grounding. With the optional grounding kit from Delta, the inverters are qualified for these applications.
