The foundation for expanding business in India was laid back in 2022 with the opening of the first local service location in Bangalore. Positive market development and the high demand for process-oriented support have now enabled the next step: the establishment of a fully-fledged Rehm subsidiary with its own sales, service, spare parts warehouse, and applications center in Bengaluru.
Local Expertise for Customers in Southern India
On October 24, 2025, the new Rehm subsidiary in Bengaluru was officially inaugurated during a traditional Indian opening ceremony. This festive occasion marked the beginning of a new chapter for Rehm Thermal Systems in India. The accompanying information and networking event for customers and partners – featuring presentations on strategic direction as well as live demonstrations in the new applications center – was very well received by the guests.
The applications center of Rehm India offers customers the opportunity to conduct process trials and tests directly on-site. This enables Rehm to support its partners in real-time process consulting and optimization – a key advantage for electronics manufacturing in a dynamic growth region.
The new subsidiary is headed by Sreekanth Krishnamurthy, who has been part of the Rehm team for many years. He began his career as a service technician, is now a Regional Sales Manager, and knows Rehm systems in detail. With his extensive experience in electronics manufacturing, he will coordinate all decentralized service operations in India and serve as the main contact for sales, applications, and service.
